The nomination period for the election (which includes mayors, councils, school trustees and regional district electoral area directors and commissioners) will close at 4 p.m. No late submission will be accepted. 

  • Sept. 18 is the deadline to challenge nominations and elector organization endorsements
  • Sept. 21 is the deadline for decisions on challenging candidate nominations, candidate withdrawal, candidate endorsement withdrawal by elector organization
  • Sept. 22 to Oct. 20 is the campaign period
