An eight-year-old boy was taken to hospital with a suspected broken leg after he was hit by a car while riding his bike Thursday afternoon near the intersection of Tabor Boulevard and Horsefly Place.
"It appears that he was not wearing a helmet and was unsupervised at the time of the collision," Prince George RCMP Cpl. Craig Douglass said.
The car's driver, who was not injured, remained on the scene and the cause of the collision remains under investigation.
Emergency personnel were called to the scene at 2:50 p.m.
