Two people were taken to hospital after a Saturday morning blaze.
Shortly after 7 a.m., Prince George Fire Rescue responded to a duplex fire in the 1400 block of McCullough Avenue. Seventeen firefighters from three halls arrived on scene to find smoke and flame coming from the structure.
Two occupants were home at the time, one of whom had to be brought out by fire crews. Both were immediately taken to the hospital for evaluation.
The fire was quickly knocked down and fire investigators are working to determine the cause. Damage is estimated at approximately $50,000.
