Prince George RCMP are urging homeowners to be wary of a duct cleaning service that generates business by contacting homeowners over the phone.
There has been no evidence of criminal activity, police said Wednesday, but Dirt Busters has been operating in Prince George without a business licence and after receiving the service, some customers have become concerned and called police.
The business is not to be confused with Dust Busters, which holds a business licence issued by the city, police said.
RCMP is advising those who have concerns about a business that has solicited over the phone or at the door to contact the Better Business Bureau before letting anyone into their home.
