The UNBC Timberwolves (4-16) wrapped up their 2023-24 Canada West season with a 95-32 loss to the league-leading Saskatchewan Huskies Saturday night at the Northern Sport Centre.

Andrea Dodig led the Huskies with 19 points and 10 rebounds and reigning Canada West player of the year Carly Ahlstrom contributed 17 points as the Huskies (19-1) wrapped up the regular season.

In the final game of her U SPORTS career, UNBC captain Rebecca Landry finished the night with eight points and three assists. Viktoriia Filatova added a team-high 11 points while Amrit Manak snagged five rebounds.

The Huskies led 52-14 at the half and outscored UNBC 23-8 in the third quarter.

With two minutes left, T-wolves head coach Sergey Shchepotkin purposely removed Landry from the game giving the crowd and her teammates an opportunity to applaud the Prince George local, who leaves the T-wolves program as one of their top-five all-time scorers and a five-time Academic All-Canadian student athlete.
