One person is dead after a single-vehicle crash Saturday on Highway 97 near Horsefly.
Called to the scene shortly before 1 a.m., RCMP found a pickup had left the roadway, rolled and collided with a BC Hydro pole.
The crash broke off the power pole which landed on the driver's compartment of the pickup and knocked out power to about 600 people in the Horsefly area.
The vehicle's driver was pronounced dead at the scene and two passengers were taken to hospital with injuries that have been described as serious. A fourth passenger was uninjured.
