"It's an exciting time for the Prince George Hospice Society when we made the phone call to the grand prize winner of the 2012 dream home lottery. It's great to be the one making htat important phone call," says Dianne Sears, fund development & marketing officer of the Prince George Hospice Society. "There was a lot of interest and excitement around our second dream home lottery, and lots of people dreaming about owning this fabulous house."

Built by Rise Construction, the 2,490 sq.ft Grand Prize custom-built Dream Home comes with six appliances and a moving package from Moving Sucks.

The Grand Prize Draw was made today at 2 pm at the Dream Home. The winner of the 2012 Dream Home is Henry Duchscherer from Prince George.

"Although we didn't have a complete sell out on the tickets, we came very close to selling all 8,500 tickets. Thanks to everyone for their support of this important fundraiser for Hospice and the work we do in the community," said Sears.

Proceeds from the 2012 Prince George Hospice Society Dream Home Lottery go to support 3 out of the 10 beds at Rotary Hospice House.

Tickets were only $100 each, and a total of 8,500 tickets were available to be sold.

The 2012 Dream Home is located at 7416 Creekside Way in the Creekside Properties Subdivision at the end of Malaspina Avenue in the College Heights area of Prince George.
