Downtown structure fire causes $150,000 damage

Prince George Fire Rescue responded to a commercial structure fire early Tuesday morning in downtown Prince George.

A fire in a commercial building in downtown Prince George Tuesday morning caused an estimated $150,000.

Prince George Fire Rescue was called to the scene at of the fire in the 1300 block of Fifth Avenue at 4 a.m. Tuesday and upon arrival crews saw smoke and flame coming from the alley behind the multi-unit structure.

Firefighters worked four hours to contain the blaze.

There were no occupants in the building at the time of the fire and there were no injuries reported.

Cause of the fire is under investigation.
