What’s better a farmer’s market?
How about two local outdoor markets next to each other for more shopping experiences!
If that resonates with you, then you’ll be pleased to hear that Downtown Prince George is bringing back its Pop-Up Market for a second straight year starting this weekend.
The organization’s version is placed right next to the Prince George Farmer’s Market at 2nd Ave. and Quebec St., where they’ll be placed for two Saturdays each month between now and September.
“We have created a pop-up space and have become good neighbours with the Prince George Farmer’s Market,” explained Downtown CEO Colleen Van Mook in a news release. “We are expanding the product offerings, supporting local entrepreneurs, and giving our residents and visitors a fabulous ‘public market’ experience right in our very own downtown.”
Vendors and producers will be set up in the Downtown Pop-Up Market on the following dates for Summer 2019:
- June 8 and 22
- July 6 and 20
- August 10 and 24
- September 7 and 21
The Pop-Up will run during the same time as the P.G. Farmer’s Market each day from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
You can reach out to Downtown Prince George if you’d like to set up a booth.
