Police are investigating an apparent double stabbing believed to have occurred near a downtown soup kitchen on Monday night.
Called to the scene in the 1200 block of Second Avenue at about 8 p.m., police went in pursuit of three suspects who fled towards First Avenue while a 64 year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment.
One of the suspects was located walking along Ontario Street, Prince George RCMP Cpl. Craig Douglass said, and when approached started to run up a trail near Patricia Boulevard and Queensway before being apprehended by another officer.
That 20-year-old man also appeared to be suffering from stab wounds and was taken to hospital.
"This investigation is in its early stages and is continuing," Douglass said.
