Representation agreements, which have only been around legally for the past decade, allow B.C. residents to decide who they wish to look after their business affairs and personal needs if they are no longer are able to do so themselves.
There are different types of agreements that give different levels of power that can range from standard to broader powers involving care, finances, real estate, legal areas, life care and more.
