Don’t change national anthem, polls says

In the last Citizen poll, the vote was overwhelming that Parliament should not have bothered changing the lyrics of the national anthem to "in all of us command.

In the last Citizen poll, the vote was overwhelming that Parliament should not have bothered changing the lyrics of the national anthem to "in all of us command."

Topping the voter naysayer chart was "no, in all of us command is an unnecessary change," coming in with 47 per cent and a total of 369 votes. A close second was "no, in all thy sons command can be interpreted to include women" with 37 per cent and a total of 292 votes.

Coming in at a distant third was "yes, in all of us command is modern and inclusive" with 14 per cent and a total of 108 votes, while "yes, in all thy sons command is sexist" trailed with two per cent of the vote for a total of 16 votes.

There was a total of 785 votes.

Remember, this is not a scientific poll.

The next Citizen poll question asks "Should the federal government undertake more public consultation and study before legalizing marijuana in Canada?"
