Police in Fort St. John are investigating a knife attack that happened Wednesday morning at about 8:30.
Public information directed Mounties to 104th Avenue where a man appeared to be severely injured.
"Members attended to the area and located the injured male inside of a residence," said Fort St. John RCMP spokesman Cpl. Steve Perret. "The male appeared to be suffering from stab wounds to his upper body and was transported to the Fort St. John Hospital. The male is in stable condition and is expected to survive his injuries. A female has been arrested in relation to this incident and is currently in police custody."
Police believe that this was a domestic dispute and that it occurred in the couples joint residence.
