A duffel bag full of household treasures was discovered by a passerby on Highway 16 not far from the Willow River Bridge. Some of the items were strewn on the ground around the red duffel.
The passerby turned the unattended bag full of gear into police, who are now trying to piece together the owner or owners of the curious collection.
"Two SLR cameras, a laptop computer, a small safe, some collector coins and a car stereo face plate were all located," said Prince George RCMP spokesman Cpl. Craig Douglass. "In addition, some more unusual items were found: a trumpet in a case, an ornamental clock with a horse and a older compass with foreign language markings."
The items were found on Sunday.
Anyone who may know the origins of the items is asked to attend the Prince George RCMP Detachment.
