The B.C. Northern Real Estate Board has elected its board of directors for 2016-2017.
William Lacy of RE/MAX Quesnel Realty is the new president.
"We have another wonderful year ahead of us as we continuously work on improving the lives of our Realtors and the citizens of our communities, as they turn to us for their housing needs," Lacey said.
"I would like to reiterate that, as we sit around the board table, we truly reflect on the needs of every Realtor in the North, which is no easy task since we are such a vast geographic and demographically diverse area."
John Evans of RE/MAX Coast Mountains was elected vice president, and David Black of Royal LePage Prince George is now past resident.
The rest of the board is made up of Shawna Kinsley (Fraser-Fort George Region), Leah Mayer, (Fraser-Fort George Region), Bob Quinlan (Fraser-Fort George Region), Mike Austin, non-Realtor director (Cariboo Region), Roland Cataford (Peace River/Fort Nelson-Liard Region) Court Smith, (Cariboo Region), D.J. Mio (Bulkley Nechako Region).
They were elected March 11 during the BCNREB's annual general meeting.
