The 18th annual Diocesan Youth Conference is set for Friday to Sunday in Prince George with as many as 300 students in Grade 8 to 12 gathering from Northern B.C. and Alberta.
The theme for the 2013 conference is The Real Deal, featuring keynote speaker Brad Henning, whose talk is about good dating relationships while promoting abstinence before marriage. This is the third time Henning, of Life Resources, will present at the annual local conference.
The weekend is filled with a variety of events, including a Saturday night dance and concluding with mass at noon on Sunday. This is a Catholic event but all are welcome.
