Designer knock offs were seized in a vast quantity by Prince George RCMP recently from a home business owner.
The knock offs or look alikes are believed to have been manufactured in violation of copyright or trademark laws and bear a forged copyright or trademark such as a logo, artwork, design or brand name.
The imitation goods include purses, wallets, sunglasses, clothing and shoes. The items had designer names such as Dolce and Gabbana, Dior, Jimmy Choo, Prada, Balenciaga, Chloe, Miu Miu, Chanel, Burberry, Fendi, Vuitton, Gucci, Coach and Ed Hardy.
Police, which began an investigation of the home in April, are not forwarding charges at this time as a warning letter has been issued in this instance.
