A visitor hoping to use a portable toilet at a B.C. park made a grim discovery Thursday (Nov. 21).
Inside, was the body of a man about 50 years old, according to police.
Emergency services got the call about 11:20 a.m.
The incident happened at Charles Rummel Park in Burnaby.
The coroner was called in after the man was determined to be deceased.
Police are investigating.
“Based on the scene, it appears to be non-suspicious,” said Burnaby RCMP.
