Mackenzie RCMP are currently on the scene of a serious motor vehicle collision at the 93 kilometre marker of the Finlay Forest Service Road.
Shortly before 1 p.m. they were called to the scene of a collision between a logging truck and pick- up truck. The driver of one of the vehicles involved was reportedly deceased.
"The investigation is ongoing at this time as emergency crews have just arrived on scene" said Mackenzie Detachment Commander Sgt. Syd Lecky in a press release issued at about 4:30 p.m. "Road conditions are poor and the Finlay Forest Service Road is currently closed due to the collision".
