The death of a person whose body was found outside the Civic Centre earlier this month is no longer considered suspicious, Prince George RCMP said Thursday.
"Though police no longer consider this death to be suspicious, the BC Coroners Service’s investigation into the cause of the death remains open," police added in a statement. "The next of kin has been notified and is working with our victim services unit. There will be no further updates on this investigation."
A space outside the north end of the Civic Centre was cordoned off with police tape for a time after a body was found there on the morning of Thurs., Dec. 1.
