The deadline is fast approaching for neighbourhoods and community groups to apply for community enhancement grants from the City of Prince George.
The small annual grants are for projects which foster civic pride, environmental awareness and beautification in the community.
Grants are awarded for projects in categories including tidiness projects, environmental awareness, community involvement, natural and cultural heritage preservation, landscaped areas, urban forestry, floral displays, food security and celebration of community.
The deadline for applications is April 30 and projects must be complete by July 30.
