The leading business voice of downtown Prince George has dismissed a consultant's report as "not only offensive but just plain wrong."
The Downtown Prince George Business Improvement Association had three representatives at Monday night's council meeting to hear the presentation of a report written by a pair of consultants hired to analyze the possibility of long-term tax abatements as a tool for stimulating development in the city's core.
