DBIA must submit revised budget to council

The Downtown Business Improvement Association was asked to submit a revised budget requested by council Monday night.

The Downtown Business Improvement Association was asked to submit a revised budget requested by council Monday night.

Mayor Dan Rogers said the budget presented at last night's meeting was a new business plan and it overlaps other areas which are already funded by tax payers. The budget included attracting new business to Prince George's downtown core, a job already assigned to Initiatives Prince George. Rogers is also concerned with $25,000 already spent by the DBIA before the budget has been approved. The DBIA must submit a revised budget at the July 14 council meeting.
