To support program funding for low income residents and single parents Carney Hill Neighbourhood Centre offers a project that can win a prize every day of the month.
Throughout May CHNC is selling tickets for a daily draw for prizes that will not be duplicated.
Tickets, at reasonable prices for the entire month, are available at the centre, 2579 Victoria St. or call fundraising co-ordinator Yvonne Chadwick or Silvia Spoletini at 250-563-8827.
CHNC is located in the heart of the VLA subdivision, a low socioeconomic area comprised of many First Nation's peoples as well as single families.
"Our mandate is continued provision of educational and recreational activities, support groups. parenting groups and other services allowing community members to work towards a healthier, safer community.
CHNC offers child care such as preschool, day care and after school programs as well as cooking, parenting, budgetting and shopping programs for adults.
