Crown counsel has approved nine more charges against a Prince George man suspected of carrying out a string of vehicle thefts stretching from Terrace to Burns Lake.
In all, James Alan Webb now faces 15 counts from the March 9-10 incident.
They include nine counts of theft of a motor vehicle, three of which were alleged to have been committed in Houston, two in Burns Lake and one in each of Terrace, New Hazelton, Smithers and Telkwa.
Webb also faces counts of fleeing police, dangerous driving, driving while impaired, driving while disqualified and willfully resisting a peace officer.
He previously faced six charges, all related to alleged offences in Burns Lake.
A snowmobile and a pickup truck fitted with a snowplow blade, along with a series of other pickup trucks, were among the vehicles Webb is alleged to have stolen.
The charges were updated on April 21, during a hearing in Fort St. John provincial court. Webb was also released on $2,000 bail on that day.
