More than 2,500 College Heights homes and businesses were without power after a vehicle collided with a power pole at Domano Boulevard and St. Lawrence Avenue just a minute after midnight Friday.
By about 4 a.m. a B.C. Hydro crew had reduced that number to 70 customers by doing some switching to isolate the affected area and just before 7:30 a.m. service was completely restored, Hydro spokesman Bob Gammer said.
The lone occupant of the vehicle did not sustain any injuries, according to Prince George RCMP.
