Northern Health has reported COVID-19 exposures at six local schools.
The latest Prince George schools to have exposure events were Pinewood Elementary, Heather Park Elementary, College Heights Secondary School, Southridge Elementary, Westwood Elementary and Shas Ti Kelly Road Secondary School.
The exposure event at Pinewood Elementary happened on Dec. 14-15.
Heather Park Elementary's fourth reported exposure took place on Dec. 11.
The exposure event at College Heights Secondary School happened on Dec. 10-11.
Southridge Elementary had its exposure event on Dec. 10.
Westwood Elementary had two separate exposure events on Dec. 8 and Dec. 9.
Shas Ti Kelly Road Secondary School's exposure occurred on Dec. 7-11.
New exposure events were also reported at schools in Terrace, Smithers and Dawson Creek.
Currently schools in School District 57 are closed for the winter break. Classes are set to resume on Jan. 4.
