The number of confirmed novel coronavirus cases in the Northern Health Authority region stood at 12 as of Friday, an increase of one from the day before.
For the province as a whole, the total grew by 67 cases and stood at 792, with 73 of them currently in hospital.
As well, the number of deaths grew by two to 16. Both deaths were in the Vancouver Coastal health region.
However, 275 patients have recovered and are no longer in isolation, an increase of 89 over the day before.
