An alleged Prince George gangster is scheduled to enter a plea on charges from a March arrest that could result in his removal from the country if he's found guilty.
Francois (Frankie) Meerholz is expected to enter pleas on one count of possession of a break in instrument and two counts of mischief under $5,000 in relation to a March 25 arrest after Prince George RCMP were called to a complaint of someone trying to break into vehicles at a Central Street motel.
The arrest resulted in Meerholz, 24, a South African citizen although he grew up in Prince George, becoming the subject of a hearing in front of an Immigration Refugee Board (IRB) adjudicator to determine if he was in violation of bail conditions imposed by the board.
The adjudicator found he was not in violation because he had not been convicted, only arrested.
Meerholz, who police say has ties to the Game Tight Soldiers and the Renegades, is also scheduled to go to trial on Nov. 22 on charges of driving while impaired, dangerous driving and fleeing a peace officer from a July 2010 incident.
His brother, Dillan, 22, meanwhile, is to go to trial on Nov. 24 and 25 on charges of aggravated assault and assault causing bodily harm.
