From Prince George provincial court Sept. 23 Wayne Mark Prince was sentenced to 60 days in jail for two counts of breach of probation.

Sept. 23

Wayne Mark Prince was sentenced to 60 days in jail for two counts of breach of probation. They were his ninth and 10th breach since he was sentenced in June 2010 to six months in jail and two years probation for asssault causing bodily harm.

Stanley James Chapman was prohibited from driving for two years and fined $1,000 plus a $150 victim surcharge for driving while driver's licence is suspended under the Motor Vehicle Act.

Darcy Lynn Wesolowski was sentenced to 45 days in jail for two counts of theft $5,000 or under and to one day in jail for possession of a break-in instrument. Wesolowski also received one year probation on all three counts.

Sept. 22

Karin Leeanna Adams was sentenced to two years probation with a suspended sentence for false pretence over $5,000.

Alexander Parr was fined $1,500 plus a $225 victim surcharge for driving without due care & attention under the Motor Vehicle Act.

Sean Patrick Edward Smith was sentenced to 133 days in jail for wilfully resisting or obstructing a peace officer, fined $500 plus a $75 victim surcharge for driving while prohibited or licence suspended under the Motor Vehicle Act and to 60 days in jail for one count of breach of probation and to 30 days in jail for another count of breach of probation.

Melanie Ann Altmeyer was sentenced to one day in jail for breach of an undertaking.

Kevin James Beattie was sentenced to 60 days in jail for breach of probation, committed in Mackenzie.

Sept. 20

William Darcy Baker was sentenced to 15 months probation with a suspended sentence for assault.

Jason Robert Fletcher was prohibited from driving for one year and fined $500 plus a $75 victim surcharge for driving while prohibited or licence suspended under the Motor Vehicle Act.

Glen Edward Hill was fined $1,300 plus a $95 victim surcharge for driving without reasonable consideration under the Motor Vehicle Act.

Gordon Kenneth Hill was fined $500 plus a $75 victim surcharge possession of a controlled substance.

Charlotte Renee Lemal was sentenced to an 18-month conditional sentence and two years probation, ordered to pay $36621.02 restitution and a $100 victim surcharge for fraud over $5,000, theft over $5,000, false pretence over $5,000 and possession or use of a stolen credit card.

Michael Scott Marshall was sentenced to four months in jail for possession of a controlled substance.

Brandy Lenay Potskin was sentenced to 60 days in jail for two counts each of willfully obstructing or resisting a peace officer and theft $5,000 or under and to one day in jail for theft, theft $5,000 or under and breach of probation.

Candida Eva Dawn Reid was sentenced to a two-month conditional sentence for two counts of theft $5,000 or under.

James Arthur Burtch was sentenced to a four-month conditional sentence and one year probation and issued $50 victim surcharges for three counts of driving while disqualified under the Criminal Code, one committed in McLeod Lake and two in Prince George.

Mark Mick Michell was sentenced to 12 days in jail for two counts of breach of probation, committed in Chilliwack.

Justin Lee Pierre was sentenced to 84 days in jail and 18 months probation for assault and issued a lifetime firearms prohibiton with a weapon and breach of probation, committed in Tsay Keh Dene.

Sept. 19

Tina Hall was issued a one-year, $500 recognizance after allegation for causing fear of injury or damage to property.

Charles Peter Luggi was sentenced to 11 days in jail for breach of probation, committed Sept. 17, a day after he had finished a four-day sentence for breach of probation, committed Sept. 10. In December 2009, Luggi was sentenced to 17 months in jail and 18 months probation for assault with a weapon and in May he was sentenced to one day in jail for breach of probation.

Sherrie Lynn Parrish was sentenced to one year probation with a suspended sentence and issued a two-year firearms prohibition for wilfully resisting or obstructing a peace officer and assaulting a peace officer.

Sept. 18

Simon Alec George was sentenced to 30 days in jail for one count of breach of probation and to 27 days in jail for another count of breach of probation. It was the seventh and eighth time George had been convicted of breach of probation since he was sentenced in October 2010 to 60 days in jail and one year probation for assault.
