The Prince George Cougars have added to their locker room a gritty forward that isn't afraid to play in the rough areas.

Zach Pochiro, born in 1994, comes to Prince George from the Wichita Falls Wildcats of the North American Hockey League.

Cats General Manager Dallas Thompson said in a release that the team was "excited to add Zach and his gritty style of play to our line up."

At six-foot-two and 162 pounds Pochiro still has room to grow physically and with his skills.

"I want to keep excelling and progressing... I feel that Prince George can help get me there."

Pochiro had 19 goals and 16 assists with 154 penalty minutes in 52 games last season with the Wildcats.
