It was just after midnight May 11 when a cougar attacked and killed a pet cat in Prince George.
The cougar was sighted near Bellamy and Noranda roads by the pet owners. Police were told when the owners were out searching for the cat, the cougar approached, but seemed to have no fear of them.
Police advise the public to use caution in areas where wildlife are prevalent, especially in greenbelt areas within the city.
