A cougar killed a cat near Bellamy and Noranda Road East just after midnight Tuesday.
The cougar did not appear fearful when it approached the owners of the cat, who had been looking for the pet at the time.
Police would like to remind everyone to exercise caution in areas where wildlife is prevalent, especially along green belts within the city.
