The Duchess Park Condors are the Junior A girls North Central zone volleyball champs after defeating the Shas Ti Kelly Road Grizzlies in a thrilling three-set game on Saturday evening at D.P. Todd Secondary School gymnasium.
The Condors won the first set 25-16, with the Grizzlies winning the second set 25-22. That set the stage for a third and final set with the victors punching their tickets to provincials that will be taking place on November 27th to the 29th. Duchess Park came out on top with a 15-10 win in the tie-breaking set to claim the zone title.
