North-central B.C. municipal leaders and the chief of the McLeod Lake Indian Band joined Friday in a public show of support for Terrane Metals Corp.'s $915-million Mount Milligan gold and copper mine, expected to begin preliminary construction work this year.
The Vancouver-based company has spent about $15 million on the mine, which has received environmental approval and permitting from the B.C. government, and an environmental umbrella approval from Ottawa.
