Toronto Blue Jays slugger Jose Bautista likes what he's reading in the Prince George Citizen.
Last week, Citizen columnist Gerry Chidiac wrote an opinion piece under the headline of 'Sports brings diverse cultures together' that defended everyone's right to express themselves in their own way, no matter their colour, creed or culture.
Bautista, the longtime Jays right fielder from the Dominican Republic, posted a link to Chidiac's column in the Citizen and stated: "Someone who gets it.....finally!"
Bautista's Twitter feed boasts more than 956,000 followers and that particular shout-out garnered more than 185 retweets and more than 625 likes.
