RCMP have released the name of the man who died in the head-on collision on the Willowcale Forest Service Road on Saturday morning.

Corey Daniel Vaughan, 21,was pronounced dead at the scene of the collision between two pickup trucks, at the 137 kilometre marker at about 7 a.m.

Police have determined that a pickup truck driven by a 20-year-old Prince George man crossed the centre line in a curve and struck Vaughan's pick-up.

Each vehicle only had one occupant at the time of the collision and alcohol was not found to be a contributing factor, police have said. The occupant of the other vehicle was taken to hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

Police continue to work with the B.C. Coroner's Service to determine the contributing factors in the crash. WorkSafeBC is also investigating.
