A section of Highway 97 North is down to single-lane alternating following a collision between a small car and a tractor trailer near Tallus Road.
Emergency personnel were called to the scene at 3:20 p.m.
"On arrival, five occupants of the small car were located and two of them were suffering what is believed to be non-life threatening injuries," Prince George RCMP said in a press release issued at about 4:15 p.m.
"The highway is partially blocked," RCMP said. "Currently there is single lane, alternating traffic; however it may be necessary to close the highway for a short period of time in order to safely remove the vehicles."
