The Council of Forest Industries (COFI) will hold its annunal Prince George and Area Community Dinner Thursday, Sept. 16 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Coast Inn of the North ballroom.
This year's dinner will feature a speakers' panel of Hank Ketcham, President, CEO and Chair of West Fraser, Quesnel Mayor Mary Sjostrom, and Donna Barnett, MLA Caribou Chilcotin and Parliamentary Secretary Pine Beetle Community Recovery.
The panel will explore what's in store for the forest sector and Northern rural resource-based communities as we recover from the economic downturn and enter a post-beetle fibre era.
