An elderly Prince George man was sentenced Wednesday to an 18 month conditional sentence for his role in the theft of over $125,000 worth of copper wire from a business on PG Pulpmill Road.

Lorne Cecil Paquette, 68, must also serve one year probation for the June 27, 2015 incident for break and enter and committing an indictable offence.

A conditional sentenced is served at home with conditions rather than in jail.

Robert James Herron, 65, continues to face a count of possession of stolen property over $5,000.
