The College of New Caledonia leadership class organized the Win It In A Minute version of the popular NBC game show Minute to Win It.
About 17 teams of two took on several challenges using common household items. The winners will receive a $250 credit towards their tuition.
Wednesday's challenges included Junk in Your Trunk where ping pong balls were put in an empty tissue box and strapped to your waist. Shaking, jumping and shimmying were encouraged to knock the balls from the box.
Next up was Stack Attack where contestants were asked to create a pyramid of plastic drinking cups and then taking down the stack without knocking them down.
Candelier was also a game of skill played during the challenge using empty pop cans and paper plates to create a chandelier of cans. The balancing act began with one can on the bottom, with a paper plate on top, two cans, with a paper plate on top and so on until there were five cans teetering on the top of the Candelier.
The challenge concludes Friday.
