CN responding to 13-car train derailment near Bear Lake

The company says there is no danger to public safety

CN said there are no injuries or danger to public safety resulting from this incident.

CN is currently responding to an incident near Anzac B.C. which is about 43 km north of Bear Lake, where 13 rail cars derailed in various positions.

The incident happened on Saturday, July 23.

A spokesperson from CN said there are no leaks, injuries or fires and there is no danger to public safety and rail cars in bodies of water.

The company said the cause of the incident is currently under investigation.
