For the fourth consecutive year the CN Centre has been nominated in the major facility of the year under 8,000 seats category of the Canadian Music and Broadcast Industry.

"2010 was truly a remarkable year for the CN Centre and Prince George," says Glen Mikkelsen, entertainment and marketing supervisor.

"We hosted a remarkable range of amazing performers. These included rock shows like Three Days Grace, Billy Talent, and Bryan Adams, country shows like Corb Lund and Reba, and even comedy shows like Jeff Dunham. But of course, we topped off 2010 with Elton John's performance.

"That show was a result of years of work, proving CN Centre is capable of hosting the best entertainers in the world. The result was a concert that people will still be talking about ten years from now."

Other nominees include Brandt Centre, Regina; Encana Events Centre, Dawson Creek; Enmax Centre, Lethbridge; Essar Centre, Sault Ste. Marie; GM Centre, Oshawa; K-Rock Centre, Kingston; Prospera Place, Kelowna; Save-On Foods Memorial Centre, Victoria.
