Central Mountain Air is offering flights between Prince George and Dawson Creek on a weekly basis for the month of July.
Flights leave Prince George on Thursdays and return from Dawson Creek on Mondays.
The service is being offered on a test basis and depending on how popular they prove to be, the service could become permanent.
"This service gives Prince George residents another entry point into the northeastern part of our province as we currently fly to Fort Nelson and Fort St. John six days a week," said CMA marketing coordinator Kevin Alles.
This is a 50-minute non-stop flight on a Beechcraft 1900D aircraft.
