The deadline for submissions to an online survey on the provincial government's climate leadership plan has passed but there is still time to send in comprehensive written submissions, the Ministry of Environment said Friday.
The deadline for that portion is Sept. 14 and they can be sent to [email protected]. A discussion paper for the plan can be viewed at engage.gov.bc.ca/climateleadership/.
The government plans to release a draft plan in December and British Columbians then will have another opportunity to provide input on the specific policies and actions proposed once the climate leadership team has provided feedback and made recommendations.
The final plan will be released by government next spring.
