Classroom study indicates promise for FASD strategy

A regimen of sustained support for teachers who have students with fetal alcohol spectrum disorder (FASD) has "a lot of promise," a researcher who looked at a dozen Grades 3-7 children with the affliction in School District #57 has found.

A regimen of sustained support for teachers who have students with fetal alcohol spectrum disorder (FASD) has "a lot of promise," a researcher who looked at a dozen Grades 3-7 children with the affliction in School District #57 has found.

University of British Columbia social science researcher Erica Clark detected notable improvements in the behaviour of the six children with FASD whose teachers received the help on a weekly basis.
