Prince George city council stood with the city's leaders Wednesday morning as the group geared up for Saturday's award dinner.
Each year, the city recognizes people and organizations whp have made significant contributions to the community.
The Civic Appreciation Awards"represent the highest distinction a volunteer can receive from the city" and will be handed out this Saturday.
Some awards include: Outstanding Volunteer Award of Merit, Recreation and Culture Award of Merit, Community Service Award and Youth of the Year.
