Prince George's population stood at 75,568 people by the end of 2010 - a 1.2 per cent increase over the previous year.
The increase works out to 924 people as well as an increase of 2,678 in the last five years,according to B.C. Stats numbers released this week
The news came as no surprise to Initiatives Prince George research analyst Tara Bogh, "just considering the strong employment numbers we've had."
According to year-end labour force survey numbers, the city's working age population for the fourth year in a row, to 68,100 in 2010 from 66,200 in 2007.
