City set for visit by budget group

Prince George will be among the stops in September when an all-party committee tours the province to hear how the public thinks their tax dollars should be spent.

The committee will hold a hearing at the Ramada, from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Cranbrook Room.

"The consultations provide a very good opportunity for British Columbians to provide their input into the budget-making process," said committee chair Dan Ashton. "The committee will give careful consideration to all of the submissions and issue a report to the legislative assembly in November containing recommendations for Budget 2015."
