The city has reopened parks and trails closed in May because of high water.
Levels along the Nechako and Fraser Rivers and connecting streams have subsided enough, city hall said Wednesday, to reopen Cottonwood Island and Paddlewheel parks and the Heritage River trail.
"Residents are still encouraged to use caution around rivers that may be experiencing swift currents," City spokesman Mike Davis said.
